5 Ways How to Screenshot on Laptops and PCs Windows 7, 8 and 10.

In this modern era, surely everyone already knows the name of the laptop and PC. Even many people who have both of these objects. But did you know that you have a laptop and PC that you can use to make screenshots? Usually screenshot activity is often done on an Android smartphone, buddy. But now screenshots or capturing screen images can also be done on PCs and laptops that we have.

A screenshot is a screenshot or screenshot that we can do on a smartphone or laptop and PC. Often we need screenshots of our computer screens to show a step for example in the tutorial article. But sometimes it's just to show someone what is being displayed on the screen of our PC device.

For myself, taking screenshots is very important. Because it can clarify the tutorials that I shared in articles like this. 1. With the Lightshot Application

For the first way you can try easily, you can use the lightshot application. This application can be installed on laptops and computers, for you Windows users can directly download and install. Besides lightshot has various advantages and features that are complete and easy to use. Here is a guide on how to screenshot on a laptop with lightshot.

• The first step is to download and install the Lightshot application.
• If you have opened the lightshot application.
• Then for a screenshot of the screen click on PrtSc or PRTSC SysRq
• Then the selection area or select area will appear.
• Move the mouse cursor to select which part you want to screenshot.
• If you have click the save icon to save.
• It's easy to open to be able to screenshot on a laptop, if you still feel difficult, you can follow the steps below.

2. Using the PrtSc Button

1. Please specify in advance the page that you want to screenshot. Then press the PrtSc or Print Screen button located in the upper right corner of the keyboard.
2. Then open the Paint program by typing "paint" in the Start Menu.
3. Then right-click> Paste or by pressing Ctrl + V.

The drawback of this method is that we cannot determine for ourselves which areas we want to take screenshots. So this way I feel less perfect for the purposes of taking screenshots.

3. Using the Alt + PrtSc Button

This method is only used for screenshots of active program or application windows, not full screen. Here's the tutorial:

1. First, please specify in advance which program window you want to take a picture of. For example in this example I want to screenshot the Excel program screen. Then point the cursor at the Excel window first, then press the Alt + Prtc key.
2. Then open the Paint program and then paste it by right clicking> Paste or by pressing the Ctrl + V keys.

The drawback of this method is that we are still not completely free to determine the area that we want to screenshot. We are only limited to taking screenshots in the active program window.

4. Using the Snipping Tool (Recommended)

Snipping tool is a default Windows program that is used to make screenshots. Here's how:

1. Please open the Snipping Tool program by typing "snipping tool" in the Start Menu.
2. You can also open it by pressing Ctrl + R, then type snipping tool and press Enter.
3. Then to do a screenshot, all you have to do is click New then screenshot the area you want.

There are various options in the Snipping Tool that you can use for the sake of screen screenshots, namely:

• Free-form Snip: Used to select or sort freely (irregularly).
• Rectangular Snip (default): Used to select laptop screens or PC square.
• Window Snip: Use it like Alt + Prtc, which is to select only the active program window (not full screen).
• Full-screen Snip: Used for full-screen screenshots (as in the first way).

Utilizing the Snipping Tool for screenshot purposes I think it's more than enough. Remember, buddy, that this snipping tool is the default Windows program. You don't need to bother downloading additional applications from the internet.

5. How to Screenshot on a Laptop with Applications

For the fifth way you can try with the Monosnap application, this application can be installed on a Windows 7, 8 and 10. laptop for free, equipped with various complete features, for how to screenshot on a laptop as follows:

• The first step, please download and install the Monosnap.application.
• Then open the application, click the monosnap icon in the corner.
• If you have pressed (ALT + Ctrl + 5) to screenshot a portion of the screen
• Or click (ALT + Ctrl + 6) for a full screen screenshot.
• Click save to save the result.
