How to Watch YouTube Videos on Lenovo Smart Display..Of all the smart home gadgets that have come out in recent years, what I really admire is the Lenovo Smart Display - basically Lenovo is taking Google Home which happens to have a 10.1-inch screen.
There are many use cases for Smart Display screens, but of all of them, one of the ways I use it most often is watching YouTube videos.
The perfect form factor for having something playing in the background while cooking dinner or doing chores, and to help you get started with your own Smart Display, here's everything you need to know about watching YouTube videos on it!

How to open YouTube
Unlike Android, the Google operating system for Smart Displays does not have a traditional application that you can open and browse without needing to. There are touch-friendly UI elements that are sure to be customized for certain services / features, but the main interaction point is meant to be your voice.
This way, you won't find an ordinary YouTube app that allows you to browse trending videos, your subscription feeds, etc.
You can open YouTube by saying "Hi Google, Open YouTube", but all of this shows a list of recommended videos.
How to watch videos from certain channels
If you want to quickly watch videos from a particular channel, all you have to say is "Hi Google, watch [Enter the channel name here] on YouTube." With that command, Google Now will automatically start playing the latest video from the channel you are saying.
After the video plays, you can tap on the screen so you see playback controls, swipe up from the bottom, and scroll through other related videos that you think YouTube will be interested in. If you find something you like, just tap and the video will start playing.
How to find videos
For times when you are not entirely sure what you want to watch, you can also search all YouTube on your Smart Display.
You can do this to search for videos and channels, and when the channel will appear, tapping on it will only start playing videos from there in chronological order rather than taking you to the channel page.
